Haeley Vaughn sings Miley Cyrus’s The Climb
After singing Miley’s “The Climb” the judges were not super impressed.
Randy said it didn’t work for him and it was excruciating. He felt there was no connection to the song and it was pitchy.
Ellen did not feel a connection either and thought it was more of a memorization then a connection.
Kara likes Haeley as a person and perfomer but she feels Haeley needs about a year of really growing her talent because of the pitch problems and inconsitency.
Simon simply called it a complete and utter mess.

Haeley Vaughn sings The Beatles on Top 24
Haeley sang the Beatles song “I Want to Hold Your Hand” tonight during the top 24 perfomances. She sang with her guitar on stage and brought a slight country vibe to the classic song. Kara said she makes up for what she can’t do with her vocals in her performance and is very entertaining. Randy is impressed with her being 16 and thinks she has great possibilities with a little more work. Ellen can’t get over the presence she seems to have on stage for only being 16 years old and enjoyed the performance. Simon said it was nearly terrible, like a wind up doll, a complete utter mess…this just means we have to vote for her more to make sure we can see her again! Go Haeley!!
